The workplace consists of social field work and work at both youth centers in Orust.
Leisure Orust is organized into two parts; youth centers and associations/outdoor activities. We are now looking for a Leisure Leader for the two youth centers located in Henån and Svanesund. In Henån, we have the youth house, and in Svanesund, we have a well-established youth center located in the school premises close to the sports hall.

Your Responsibilities
As a social Field Worker/leisure leader, you are part of the Youth Center operations where you work with the target group of youth aged 12 and up with outreach, preventive, and promotional activities. The social field work is mainly conducted in the field - at schools, youth centers, and other places where youth gather, both during the day and in the evenings. The work is largely carried out in collaboration with other actors such as schools, youth centers, and the police. The work occurs at the individual, group, and structural levels. This means that the outreach work is complemented by, for example, holding lectures, training, participating in meetings, and leading and participating in various collaboration forums. By working broadly with outreach in the entire youth group, field workers can see what general needs exist to improve youth's growing conditions. Additionally, you will meet those youth who are at risk of developing unfavorably and see the specific needs these youth have. One goal of the field work is to prevent youth from developing social problems and to catch those youth where such development has already begun to provide support and refer them further. It is important to build meaningful relationships with the youth you meet, where all contact is voluntary. As a leisure leader at the youth center, you work to create a safe and meaningful leisure time for children and youth. You are an important role model and meet youth in their everyday lives with respect, engagement, and curiosity. Your responsibilities include planning and conducting activities that promote community. Building relationships and being a support for youth in their development. Creating a safe environment at the youth center where everyone feels welcome. Working evenings and weekends according to the schedule, as the youth center is open when the youth are free. Contributing to the development of the operations through ideas, projects, and activities that engage.
The working hours are scheduled for both daytime but mostly evening hours according to the schedule, which also includes weekend work.
